Upon graduation from the Barry University School of Law in 2010, Tye served as the staff mediator for the Ninth Circuit’s Osceola County Courthouse Mediation Department for almost seven years before going into private practice with the Non-Profit Mediation Center of Central Florida, and most recently becoming the Director of Mediation at CPLS, P.A. in May of 2022.

Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediation Training Programs:
COUNTY MEDIATION CERTIFICATION COURSE.....$495
March 30, 31 & April 1, 2023. June 8 – 10, 2023. Sept 14 – 16, 2023.
What to Expect:
This is a Florida Supreme Court-certified county mediation training program that includes 24 hours of training. This course is taught remotely and engages participants through role plays, group discussions, and engaging lectures. Learn the skills necessary to successfully mediate cases that fall within the jurisdiction of Florida’s county courts. Develop skills in identifying key issues, generating settlements, and maintaining neutrality as the mediator.
This program provides 29.5 Florida Bar Approved CLE Credits including:
29.5 General Hours
1.5 hours in Bias Elimination
2.0 hours in Ethics
FAMILY MEDIATION CERTIFICATION COURSE.....$895

This is a Florida Supreme Court-certified family mediation training program that includes 40 hours of training. This course is taught remotely and engages participants through role plays, group discussions, and engaging lectures. Learn the skills necessary to successfully mediate cases that fall within the jurisdiction of Florida’s family courts. Develop skills in identifying key issues, including those specific to family mediation such as issues with time-sharing and the division of marital assets.rn
The Program Provides:
40 hours of Continuing Mediator Education for Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediators.
45 CLE Credits for members of the Florida Bar – 45 General, 1 Bias Elimination, 4 Ethics, 1 Professionalism, and 2.5 Technology.
Certification Credits – 3 Appellate Practice and 3 Civil Trial
